Rebuilding teeth that last
Missing or damaged teeth can affect how you eat, speak and smile. Restorative dentistry rebuilds them, and dental implants, in particular, offer the closest thing to natural teeth, anchored securely into the jaw.
At De Santi Dental we restore single teeth, several teeth or a full arch, using crowns, bridges, dentures and implants. The result looks natural, feels stable, and helps preserve the shape of your face and jaw.
How a dental implant is built
A complete dental implant is made up of three parts that work together, as shown here:
- Implant post: a titanium or ceramic screw placed into the jawbone, acting as an artificial tooth root
- Abutment: the small connector that links the post to the visible tooth
- Restoration: the crown, bridge or denture fitted on top, matched to your natural teeth
Depending on your needs, we provide single-tooth implants, implant-supported bridges or full-arch restorations.
The implant journey
Placing an implant happens over a few visits, with healing time in between.
- Consultation & imaging: we assess your bone and plan the placement.
- Implant placement: the titanium post is gently placed into the jaw.
- Healing: the implant fuses with the bone over a few months.
- Abutment & restoration: the connector and your new crown or bridge are fitted.
- Follow-up: we check the fit, bite and your comfort.
Why choose implants
Implants restore full chewing ability, prevent jawbone loss, maintain your facial structure and look completely natural. With good care, a modern implant can last a lifetime.
